What did you do to your Full Size today?

Hey, one in, all in.
C'mon all you full size lovers....

This weekend I:
-wire brushed the drivers floor and sprayed it with Killrust,
-mounted an external UHF antenna on the rear quarter,
-got under the back and fixed the wiring for the gas tank,
-fixed the drivers door window winder (again, mech keeps breaking),
-waited for lots of bits to arrive from the US,
-waited for lots of bits to arrive from local (Aust) suppliers,
-looked (again) at the pile of bits on the bench waiting to go in.
-did more planning and scheming over a few beers :)
-wished i was out there driving it,
-doubted i'd make it to the muster. Bugger.

All the body panels, all interior stuff, both the axles, steering box, etc.

The motor, trans and t/f are going to another build up....some rev-head doin' up a pointy nose. :-)

The 33" Simex JT2's with white sunraysia wheels are on offer at this time.

Warn 12000lb low mount winch with custom winch mount.

Chetbuilt rear wheel carrier.

The shell will head for scrap as soon as. I will be posting in the for sale section soon as I get confirmation from the on-offer stuff.

Well this weekend I:
Saturday:
- Fixed up the sunroof so it can not leak (fingers crossed)
- fixed up a few rust patches with some Rust bullet.
- installed a Hydrojacker steering damper (doesn't that make a difference)
- Greased all the trucks nipples
- Installed a new radiator cap (gee instantly fixes a overheatng problem I have had for a little while, farkin useless mechanics.)
- replaced the alternator, the brushes abd slip ring were gone on the one on it, and I wanted a bigger unit anyway - now has a 120 Amp.
- Yeah did a bit of wishing that I could get some of the new bailey channels and window wipes in but ran out of time.

Sunday:
- took 'the canyonero' out for a run into Newnes State forest with 5 others, A Great Family Day
- Never missed a beat.

Cheers Rok

Squeezed in a few hours on the old girl.....

New headers. Nice and shiney. And big.......sounds ace.
New HEI dizzy and leads. Hello, 360! Damn, just those changes woke it up a bit. The EGR flap in the RH zorst manifold was jammed almost closed. And i had no mech advance on the std dizzy, no wonder it felt flat....

Coming shortly......... cam, head work, carb, manifold. And other stuff.
When i (finally) have more time and get to the pile of stuff on the bench.

And a disk brake Solid 60. :)
Then change front ratio to suit, more suspension work, cage, seats.............

Holidays booked for Camp coffs next year, and Classic not Plastic.

Took my FSJ for a blue slip inspection today! It failed but only for an oil leak around the oil filter and it starts in gear. Will hopefully take it back to get it on Thursday :D
