Just checking on the VSI 50 situation this is the current situation as per 4wd NSW & ACT

Dear Members,

Despite our previous and ongoing representations and at short notice the Association has received a “final” VSI 50 draft from the RTA. This document has been sent to the Association Working Committee for acceptance.

Because of a commitment to the RTA on confidentiality we cannot divulge details but we can say that in its current form there are sections of the final “draft” that we think will be acceptable to our members however there are areas that we find unacceptable.

We intend to formally advise the RTA of our views on Monday 10th May.

The Association Working Group remains committed to getting a fair deal for 4wdrivers. We will keep you informed.
