Need some advice on towing.

We tow a 1800 kg boat on the open road, sometimes heavier when loaded up with camping gear.

My 1996 auto XJ sport tows fairly easily with no overheat problems.

Reading these posts its either re-gear or stick with stock tyre size.

Im up for new tyres and Im thinking of fitting 15X 31 inch to fill the gaurds after the 3 inch lift.
Is there any drive ability problems with the taller tyres.

Thanks Ceven, I put a spanner on that nut but the clutch spins when I tried to turn it. Just may need to hold the clutch while I losen the nut.

Has any one replaced the pully bearing on their Aircon unit? and can it be done without removing it.

Getting a dry bearing noise from it when idling.

2 inch Ironman lift kit ended up 3 inches lift....

2 inch Ironman lift kit ended up 3 inches lift. It pushed the front diff over to the drivers side so that the right tyre was level with the gaurd and the left tyre was under the gaurd, didnt look...

Ive ran 2 full tanks of fuel through it now and am getting a solid 12.5 litres per 100km around town. I was getting 15 litres per 100.
