I think you will find that the long ranger tank will not fit your KJ. The tanks only fit the older models pre- 2004. There is an existing thread on here that covers this topic.

Was pretty cool to watch, but they only had three wheel nuts on each wheel and probably most of the nuts and bolts holding it together were removed in advance. Or is there some other explanation.

From memory the factory ones are hex shaped to fit the holes in the tranny support. Are the coventry ones hex shaped as well ?

When I did mine I had both chassis rails on stands and it just took a little bit of foot pressure on the axle to free them up enough to remove. Car never looked like falling over at any stage.
