07 JK 2.8 CRD ..remove and replace mechanical fan

Hi,

After 400000 km the viscous fan has separated from the coupling and now I have to replace the fan. I have the parts on order but I'm just wondering how long the manual indicates it would take...

Other day I was driving around and bang overtemp comes up. Looking under the bonnet and the fan has come off. The coupling is still on the water pump and the fan and viscous fan is on the radiator.....

As you see I got extended life out of previous belt. I'm thinking I bought a gates or Dayco belt. i can't think it was a crown belt, but either way it should have lasted longer that 50kms. I had it...

The previous belt had run for over a year (50000km) on 4 ribs, since before the timing belt was done. The belt was running on four ribs a few days after its replacement....
