Thanks, I'm not the best when it comes to the electronic side. Based on that there shouldn't be an issue at all with the gauge getting the wrong speed from the pcm and will display the correct speed...

Would the "regional " settings ( mph/kph, temp,etc) affect how the pcm relays the data to the dash? If I got a pcm from the states (that use mph) would the signal be accurate to the speedo?

Yea it is the the same as the '95 I had, It looks like all the lights on the dash are working it is just the physical gauges and odometer that lights up but doesnt record the distance travelled
