Yes, they had to change the number of slots in the grill when it was no longer jeep, which is why the 2500 has the regular, and the qishi does not.

One giant black plug. Or three smaller plugs. IMO there's a lot more junk all over the fuel rail and intake...

You need a matched remote with RKE unit. IE you need a 99+ RKE with the 99+ remote, a 97-98RKE with the 97-98 remote.

But yes, programming requires access to a DRBII via the CCD bus at the OBD2...

The outside temp is spot on accurate, its either a J type or K type thermo couple, I forget which, but its spot on accurate. Same goes for the gas mileage, spot on accurate with my hand calculations....

OK the newer XJ console is a little differently setup than the older console, to get full functionality of the console you have you may need to ditch the XJ trip computer and install a 93-95 ZJ trip...
