What width 31s are they? Ive got 31x10.5s on 15x7 TJ alloys and they dont rub on the leafs. But my rear doesn't flex too well either at the moment haha

Threw the old battery from the cruiser into the xj today as the old one was stone cold dead. started up first crank though, cant complain about that.

Moved it up under the carport to get it back...

Parked it up in the car-port and started pulling the front end apart (again). Harmonic balancer, water pump, thermostat and housing, and new idler pulley bearings to go in. Possibly new timing case...

I had the same dramas as bruggz when doing my solenoids. Had to take the filter off with the pan held up by the exhaust and trans crossmember. Didnt need that many appendages though, I did it at work...

Ahh, didn't realise the cross shaft was held in by a pin, thought it had a bolt like the rear diff. Ahh well. :rolleyes:

Assembled the LOKKA in the front diff for the new ratios just so I could nut it all out. Should hopefully be able to do the install without removing the diff centre from the axle housing if all goes...

The 8.25 I've got is from an early 2wd, so has an open centre instead of LSD as well. Hence going the lokka route, best of both worlds
