There are two deep ones I did up the cape, nolans and Logan's, both had water up over the bonnet and no issues with water in the xj or electrics. They seal pretty well for an old truck.

I had EFS springs in mine for a couple of years, I have no complaints.... only swapped them out to go bigger.

I had procomp shocks in mine though, not the EFS ones.

I used core flute on mine, attached it with velcro that is sticky on one side. That way you can remove it when your not towing.
