Sorry hit the wrong button... so anyway I decided not to fit the bar and when I saw the hooks I jumped at them. I'm sure that poly 4x4 or wooders had them for sale too. You don't actually need both...

Finally got my tow hooks installed. It was relatively easy. Just the torx bolts on the passenger side of the bumper held me up a bit. I'm really happy with them. Thanks darksidecustoms for hooking me...

So I got the window up. Thanks for all your advice. I ended up using the jumper leads with a little electrical wire on the ends and wound the motor up. The worm screw, cable and motor are all good....

Thanks MM. I will give that a go. The door trim is off so its gotta be the best way to close the window and to rule out the motor being stuffed. I don't think it's the wiring because I went through...

Since forever my drivers side window has been working when it feels like it. Today it decided to stay half way down. So I finally got off my ass and investigated the problem. 1 all the fuses are ok....
