I went with 10mm and ground the lowest part of transfer case housing to get a total of 13mm or about a finger thickness and have no problems of it hitting as the transfer case lifts up under load.

Just adding to what Clarky posted in NSW you will need a engineers slip on any vehicle lifted above 50mm and tyres 7% larger than Largest factory fitted tyre if you would like to keep it legal....
