Oil changed the oil & found small white plastic bits in strainer

I just changed the oil on my 97/98 XJ 4litre. Strained the oil and found little bits of hard white plastic in the strainer.
Very hard plastic and almost like from drilling.

Good idea and advice. I plan on doing some pre emptive maintenance when back, including the cooling system. Had read elsewhere re importance of correct temp thermostat so will do that....

I agree, lpg install would cost more then Jeep is worth and as you say "Olden" fitting lpg may cause more probems...
