NOT TRUE.. most (if not all) 285/70/17's are 100% legal to fit to a 7.5" rim as shown on their websites..:rolleyes:

EDIT - as are 285/75/16's..

AEV kit includes brake line brackets.. drop brackets are $150 and new Fox steering relo is about $80 or so.. buy some jack stands and a trolley jack.. will take you one whole day at most to fit...

Easily done yourself with basic hand tools.. there is nothing difficult about fitting the AEV kit

a vehicle that performs well offroad is a vehicle that is low enough to clear the tyres it is running.. the higher you go the more unstable it becomes..
