The slimline lithiums are only around 50mm wide, so shouldn’t be an issue under the seat. It’s their length that could be a problem. I’m going to make up a template of one and see where it will fit.

Possibly battery. When you say it turns over, is it like a normal crank or sluggish? Try a jump start or charging the battery and if that doesn’t work then possible an air leak in your fuel system...
