Im running 235's A/T's mounted to stock steel rims with 2" lift no rubbing at all with slight adjustment to steering stops...:D

this is the one I had on my last XJ, dont reallly know how effective it was but in slow driving you can see the heat haze escaping, may have assisted pushing air in then out...

I ran a set OME shocks from ARB purchased new on my last 98 XJ Sport
I found them to be a little harsh on road, but I was running Maxis 235/75/15 MT's but I felt very confident with them on road...
