If you havent worked it out yet JEEP-EATER=RUFF=Tony from Haultech :) The above reply was made before we had taken delivery of any GQ CVs so we never realised how small the stub shaft was.

And the heat treating does not effect the stub shaft in any way.

As far as i am aware no one has succeded in breaking a D60 CTM joint. Not sure on the D44. Someone mentioned the OX joint. There are a few reports on pirate of breakages of these.
