Just got the Jeep back. WIN/steering lock module...

Just got the Jeep back. WIN/steering lock module and antenna all needed replacing. $900 parts and $600 fitting at an independent.
Jeep wanted between $2200-2300.

Hey, sorry for the late reply.

No, didn't make a difference the WIN/steering lock module and the antenna all needed replacing...$900 parts and $600 labor (4hrs). Jeep quoted $2200.
Took 5 weeks...

Can anyone share how they did up the reused fuel lines to the correct torque. I have all the bits to do the Turbo coolant line but apprehensive due to stuffing up the torque, too loose or too tight...

Security system shutting engine down on start up

Hi all, so after trying to diagnose a low oil pressure issue, I've discovered the root cause.

Seems on occasion, my security light flashes on start up causing the engine to shut down after 2...

Brake replacement WK2 Diesel

I'm getting a vibration when braking from speed, so assume my Rotors are warped a little After 145000km I'm still on the original Rotors/Pads.

Has anyone replaced theirs? Is it worth the cost...

Ok, so I measured the o rings for the egr cooler....

Large - 30mm OD, 24mm ID.
Medium- 25mm OD, 19mm ID.
Small- 17mm OD, 11mm ID.

So all 3mm thick. Large was black in colour and the medium and...
