Note that there are a number of updates applied along with the transmission "recall". It's possible the one responsible for the fans going nuts was applied to your 2011 also.

Who knows - Maybe I should have given my dealer a shot at fixing the skipping rear. I guess it was a general lack of confidence that they'd be as meticulous as a specialist.
