Zinc is bad for DPF's its a contaminate. IIRC its actually mentioned in the posted report and certainly in other technical docs.

No the key check is a bit of a Joke....... especially on the diesel. Plug in a real scan tool and hope :-)

The bad news is the diesel's fault codes are also pretty thin - Jeep did just enough work...

I've bad news for you...... modern common rail diesels are VERY intolerant of Petrol in the fuel system. Not only don't they run properly.... the diesel is used to lubricate fuel injection components...

In the early CRD days the system would overcharge the CRD's battery so the dealers apparently did a reflash of the TIPM to lower the charge voltage. So technically it is a programmable parameter....

Can't help on the number....... but every replacement unit bearing I've seen comes with new sensors. The point being the old ones are throw away....... ask and someone is bound to be able to assist.
