The fan was never on after stopping for a look.
I had a tarp but you are in and out of the water so often on the old tele that I didnt bother.

Yes you are right, you should not get rid of the rear sway bar. By dropping it i meant lowering it, not removing it.
6.25" stock to 4.5" BS gives 1.75 inch's of extra track each side...

If you only want new wheels to avoid rubbing the extended sway bar links you can use the originals and drop the sway bar instead. $90

An 8" rim with 4.5" backspacing should sit the tyre out...

I don't think that an engineer anywhere would approve 14.5" wide bias tyres on a JK. Look at 35x12.5 and a 3.5" lift instead.

I believe that most replacement arms have a lot stiffer mounts, not as flexible as the thick factory rubber bushes. Any aftermarket arms are likely to give a harsher ride than factory arms.
