This one is a PITA, cos mine used to pop it when sat idling in heavy traffic. It won't affect the way it runs.

Believe it or not, these things have a 101degC thermostat for emissions.
Normal temps are 100-106 and controlled by the ECU/fan....so pretty hot..
My 14 JK is supercharged so fitted a 170f...

How much boost are you seeing? The Edelbrock is running 8.5-9psi.

I used HPtuners also and trans tuning is sweet. Shifts WOT @ 7k, drives around nicer than stock.

Was a lil pricey but fitted perfect, looks and sounds great.

Red run starts a lil higher and ends at stock rev limit.
All runs in 3rd gear on the 5 sp auto, stock diff ratios....

Under the hood looks factory and you cannot hear the blower, so doubt it will ever be an issue. ( The sprintex is noisy, magnuson and edelbrock are not)

We had to dyno in 4wd to keep the auto happy. Stock was 108kw.
Tuned with an airbox it made 122kw. With the blower bolted up...
