Planning a full restore on a CJ8. Currently it has an AMC 304 but as I plan on keeping this one I am weighing up power train options. The 304 won't stay and I don't think a 360 is the answer, too...

It's a known manufacturing defect, as a result the warranty period for a these engines has been extended to ten years. Push hard some dealers will try to get out of it but others have been successful
