I can't remember exactly when we bought the XJ, but I started in here in 2006 and that's when it converted from my wife's "soccer mums" car to my toy, so it would have been at least 3 or 4 years...

The multiwii does take a lot of setting up, this is the screen of the configuration software you download from multiwii although it has probably changed a bit now, but once you get it tuned it flies...

I think I've finally done it!!

well for now at least...

it took:

- new rear main seal
- new front & rear PCV valves and gromits
- new oil adapter O rings
- new oil filter
- re-tension the sump bolts
- replaced welsh plug

yes the one with the small hole is for the back, don't use that at the front.

They're not that expensive, so they're one of the very few parts I've actually bought from the dealership as I needed...

well I've found the issue. I replaced a stuffed t/stat with a new cheap t/stat from ebay which was also rooted. :hammer:

after taking it back out and heating both t/stats I found the old one...
