solution is Jeep dealer has to replace WCM wireless control module and ELV steering lock module ... was a jeep service Bulletin ( F20 Recall) issued by Jeep to replace WCM , seems several cars slipped thru system .. now out of warranty jeep want around $2300 to change 2 units... ( also stated computer may need changing 2-3grand
so if you own a 06 WH = check next service if recall F20 done
Now searching for WCM and ELV other than dealer ? suggestions welcome

I could be wrong but if it is a recall then it is for the life of the vehicle until fixed. There is no final date. If it is a service bulletin then it may only be limited to dealers and restricted to warranty only.
