100,000K is the recommended interval, I changed mine a lot earlier to make sure nothing extra was in the oil. Get it changed about every 30,000k now that way I know I shouldn't have any surprises. No leaks around the box is my way of checking the level, been going to make a dip stick, maybe one day !!!!!!!
