Cheifs are built on the same chassis, have the same wheelbase, and the same rear overhang.

They do have the same front doors as a 4 door/FSJ, but have a wider track/axles (around 6 inches I believe) and steel flares moulded into the guards to cover the tyres.

You can see both the black and the green chiefs /utes have the same rear overhang as my FSJ in the pics above.

I have thought about shortening the rear, but you wouldnt be able to do too much as the rear spring hanger is as far forward as you can go in shortening the chassis and body.

Will post some pics in a few days so you know what I mean.
