So I have a transmission cooler that I bought ages ago and have finally thought about mounting it. My thought is to mount it in my bullbar and remove the stock cooler and replace it with this, added bonus of no cooler in front of the radiator.

Anyway, I'm thinking of making a removable section in the bottom of the bar and mount the cooler to this with a fan or two on the back of it, it will be in the section under the winch plate and above the sloped base. Does it sound like a good plan? I was concerned about mud etc but it should be easy to remove and clean if required.

Here's a pic of the jeep so you can see the bar, the sloped section underneath is where I would make the removable section along with slotting it for air flow.

Cheers
Steve
