On an individual light .... It can be something as simple as the angle a mounting/fastening screw is on - which just needs a twist.
With a bunch of lights up there ... I'd probably blame the lamp mounts.
Truck accessory places have the deflectors davesjeep mentioned ... but you can buy perspex from lots of places.
