    simex centipedes- road legal??

hi, i am about to buy some simex centipedes, and i assumed they were legal to drive onroad, but some1 suggested they wernt...
i called a few places, and 1 told me they were a bias and not legal, but another 4x4 shop said they were DOT approved and were legal to drive on.
i just want to ensure they ARE legal (in WA) to drive on the road. i know they dont handle well, are very noisey and will wear fast, but i just dont want to get into trouble because they arnt legal...
    thanks

I,ve seen em on the road and it rips shit out of em,even just goin to the trails and back. The ones i saw were very worn on the shoulders.I assumed they were legal for the road but don,t really know, they,re a good comp tyre tho.Federal Couragias are one of the most aggressive muddies i,ve seen.I only fit mine to wheel on to get the most out of em.

so long as their radial ply and a reasonable size (no more than 2" larger than factory size) than yes they are road legal or they would have written on them: NOT FOR HIGHWAY USE cheers

no i wont run them full time. ill have a set of A/Ts for onroad, and only drive them to where i wanna 4x4 with them.

the set im bung have DOT approved written on them, does that mean the are radials??
