Pulled of my old racks today andnow understand what you mean about the nutserts. I will do the same and drill holes to suit the original as Ireally don't want to put extra holes in the roof ifI don't need to, but was thinking about a nice thick layer of sikaflex that will also help bond the rail to the roof.
