It looks like you might be right about that because I'm not getting any reading on the gauge.
Email from Tridon: "The TTS036 is a water temperature sender. It is not designed for automatic transmissions. The internal specifications will not suit your gauge and the unit will not withstand the high temperatures produced by your transmission."
