Now considering that our Jeep will be based mainly in the city, with an occasional foray to the NSW Ski fields or "light" off road duties, what do you suggest I consider for the tyres whilst I have the option?

So, they need to be reasonably comfortable, quiet and safe.

Any thoughts?
Hi Imadog, for what you've described, based on my experience to date, the Khumos will be fine.
I have also heard the 2013 model is coming in with Michelin Lattitudes and I had them on my old KJ as the last set and they were great tyres too.
Hope this helps.
