I decided to test it a bit more before going back to the dealer in case of operator error and it happened yesterday morning, one again it was outside and the weather was cool but not really cold and without the hot oil warning. After two attempts I waited for all the warning lights to go out and it started so I'm starting to think I'm just rushing the key and not giving it a chance to do any self testing. I'll try it again in the morning and see if it does it after being under cover.
