Does anyone know where in the intake system the EGR valve dumps its contents when open? Does it dump into the intake side of the turbo itself, into the suction part of the intake or the pressure part of the intake? Ive noticed a SS pipe that runs from the back of the engine somewhere and connected into the upstream end of the intake near the MAF.

If it dumps into the suction side my theory is that an EGR "delete" could be as as easy as disconnecting exhaust feed to the EGR, blanking the exhaust manifold and installing a PCV breather type filter with some hose to the inlet side of the EGR valve housing. EGR valve opens, pulls fresh clean cold air into the intake and the MAF still sees a volume change, therefore not throwing any codes.

Plausible?
