Looks like a really firm mount.. But..
You'll find your sandflag will be all but useless back there unless you are reversing up sand dunes. Ideally they should be mounted on the nose of the vehicle, or at the centre above the roofline, usually on a roof rack, and should be at least 3m off the ground at the top. When your nose is high coming up the sand, it is of greater benefit to other drivers to see your flag before they see you.
