If there is wear in the bushing the excess movement will allows oil past the seal, without compairing the old bush to a new one it is hard to see if it is worn or not so for $15 its worth replacing.
Saves doing it twice & I doubt you could remove the new seal without damaging it.
Minimum I would replace the "O" ring & seal.
