I have a 1" body lift and a Rusty's Offroad 3.5-4" lift. Despite that much lift I still rubbed on 33's so I ended up trimming the guards to fix it. If you don't want to trim you're best option is to put bigger bump stops on... mines got a bit of rust and not quite straight so i wasn't fussed.
If I were to start over, i probably would have done an SOA conversion as it's such an economical lift and you get better results. However, it would be around a 6" lift over stock.
