The install wasn't too bad, the only frustrating part was fitting the tyre carrier section, there is a great thread on a Jeep forum from the States, which was really helpful!! My only real complaints I have is this thing is heavy, so I'm thinking air bags will be on my to do list, also there is some noise coming from the latch when going over bumps. This is my first wheel carrier, so I am not sure if they all make a bit of noise when going over bumps? I think that once the hi-lift and 2 x Jerry cans are on the weight would settle things down.

All in all, I am pretty happy with it, it will come in very handy when going away on weekend trips.

A big thank you to JeepKonection for their help, never had a bad experience with these guys to date *touch wood*
Thought I'd follow up with my fitment of this bar. I'd previously moved my licence plate to the US position, and didn't want to move it to the spare, so I modified the LH side of the tyre carrier frame to clear the licence plate.....doesn't affect anything at all, so the carrier still works as normal.
The bar fitted easily to my 13 JK, the carrier was a bit of mucking about to get it to adjust to the right spot and lock the adjuster....not too bad, though.
All up, this job took a full day, half with the help of a friend - you are not going to fit this without someone to help.
Couple of things....the 3rd brake light prevents you mounting the accessory hi-lift mount AND carrying two 20 litre Jerry cans.....you can't do all three things at once, but I've deteremened that if I convert to using the AEV centre high brake light kit, which pokes through the wheel spokes, then I can run both the Hi-Lift and 2 x 20lt Jerry cans at the same time.....so I'm going to go the AEV kit.
I added a larger thick foam rubber buffer pad for the swing arm to hit when closing...I get no rattles, the carrier locks and unlocks easily.

TRAX Industries in Melbourne had this bumper/carrier combo at a good price.
