Hey Guys,

We had our test fitting on Saturday and the WK2 Nudge Bar is coming along nicely.

A few features we've designed into the WK2 Nudge Bar.
1. A tapered tab on the bottom of the nudge bar, fits down into a tapered hole on the mounting bracket. This locks the bar to the mounting bracket similar to how a wheel lug nut locks your wheel onto your car. It's incredibly strong and best of all, completely invisible when bolted in place.
2. The mounting brackets swivel slightly to make installation much easier.
3. The mounting brackets have a bit of extra steel on the inside edge to keep a bow shackle from hitting the nudge bar during a vehicle recovery.
4. Accessory mounting tab is slotted to accommodate various mounting positions and bolt patterns.

Based on the test fitting of this prototype we're making the following changes.
1. Extending the height of the nudge bar to accommodate parking sensors on MY14 WK2s as well as provide better spacing behind the bar to accommodate the depth of various accessories when mounted to the bar.
2. Adjusting the angles of the bar to better follow the front contours of the vehicle.
3. Adjusting the mounting brackets to better account for manufacturing tolerances and increase ease of installation.

I'm hoping to have the next prototype before our Weekend Wheeling trip to LCMP. Hopefully just in time to give it (and my new ARB Intensity LED Spotties) some good off-road testing.

Cheers,
Bill
