Thanks for the feedback, I just used a small kitchen knife haha. To be honest you just gotta take your time, use common sense, and apply appropriate pressure and as a result you will visibly see the cut your making. When I did it, the original paintwork was fine .

When doing the hinges on the hood, the only hard thing was in terms of covering up. I covered up part of the windshield and wipers. When you do it just tape up the gaps . It's really a common sense mod.

Don't be afraid of some overspray getting on places you don't want, as plasti dip is removal and a moist cloth and elbow grease will give it a good clean up.
