I am currently doing something similar to mine.
I have an aftermarket RHD track bar, with a 7/8" - 18 TPI LH thread TRE at the frame mount end. I have sourced a Forged Currie Johnny Joint with the same thread to replace the TRE. The frame mount hole needs to be drilled out to 5/8" (the factory taper is shot).
This should be enough to hold it all together for some time, worst case, the frame mount gets replaced with an aftermarket alternative.
