The Diablosport tuner which is popular with the 5.7L Hemi owners (I think from memory it also allows you to adjust shift points and rev limiter better than the SC tuner) is apparently not supported for the Jeep 4.7L, but is for the Dodge Ram etc: http:// https://www.diablosport.com/...33351&start=15

I also thought I had read that you can use a Hypertech tuner on the 4.7L, but according to this thread it is not supported either:

I think Briteway would be a good person to ask as he has done all the research and used to run a 4.7L WJ.

Provided you are realistic with your expected performance/economy gains the Superchips tuner should be worth it. Coupled with the Transgo shift kit and a decent free-flowing exhaust system you should see good improvements in both.
