Howdy from Sweden
My findings here indicate that the diesel have less payload than the petrol Pentastar and I think it is because the diesel engine is much heavier than the Pentastar.
My Wrangler unlimited Rubicon in Sweden with pentastar have a payload of 545kg, thats in the registration papers from the Government. I have looked at the registration papers at many diesels and they have much lower payloads.
2540kg-1995kg=545kg
