i have a 2 door 2013 jk. if you have mainly 2 people like me take out the back seats you can fit 2 large mountain bikes in the back if you remove front tyres. i have been doing this in my JK since i bought new 2 and a half years ago and they fit perfectly as long as you put them in diagonally(don't even need to strap).

As for Paddle boards...well i have 2 Kayaks 3.5 meters long whenever i want to use i remove hard top and simply have 2 pool noodles (cost $1.50 each) cut to the width of my car and i put one on the windscreen one across where the soundbar/rollcage brace sits and strap down kayaks to rollcage. Haven't had any issues with this... eventually i will get a roofrack, but seeing as i mainly use my kayaks during good weather no rush.

just my 2cents
