Thanks bruggz, its Black spray paint, the previous owner obviously had a go at painting something back there and the wheel caught a bit. It does look rather ominous in that photo I have to admit.
Thanks JJ, I have had a pre update and loved it but I was on the hunt for a silver 2001 classic and ended up getting this one from Newcastle about a year ago. The rims are half the reason why I like it.
