Given the comments above, I'm wondering if this is where the Sill Armour/Rocker Gaurds/Whatever they're called come into it? To help strengthen the lower part of the tub for a worst case scenario? Clearly a big enough hit might still munt everything, but then wondering if say Uneek Sliders + Sill Armour then comes a bit closer to being up to the task?
Personally, I liked the Nemesis Billy Rockers, though re-reading the description I'm not so sure anymore...

Those Nemesis slides are exactly the style (but not the exact brand) that I referred to in a previous post....a big hit transferred energy into the tub and bent it. Personal choice thing, But I wouldn't run that style.
