Tack every 20-25mm. Grind them down and hammer to get shape back. Then weld the straights one at a time, in one go if possible. Grind down to just above flush inside and out and hammer shrinkage out to return shape back again. Then move on to the next straight. Leave corners until last. Will take a week at least, probably more I think, to get as perfect as I am able. Good practise for the bonnet which will be the hardest panel of the whole build.
