Yeah I'm not super familiar with the 3.0 but if you hadnt had any other symptons no high freq turbo noise varation or slight drop in performance in high rev range or fault codes. I would be pulling the pcv inspecting and replacing it m installing an oil catch can and then pulling and cleaning or replacing the swirl motor and that area. Check the radiator and res to see if there is a film as well to be safe.
