Hi all, Had my Teraflex mega short sye in for about 12 months. Retuning from a day 4 wheeling and the speedo starts reading low whilst under power and normal on over run. Long story short the locating pin for the speedo reluctor is 5mm long, the hole in the output shaft is 3mm deep and the locating groove in the reluctor is 4.9mm deep. When the sun the moon and all the planets align and on a rough track the pin road up into the groove, feel out, and sat in there side ways allowing the reluctor to free wheel. Problem solved made one out of a 5mm drill bit shank 8mm long, perfect fit. Not something you think of when you install the kit, you just assume the engineers have got it right. Not a big problem just some more quality time in the shed with the TJ. Hope this helps any one else fitting one, worth a look when you install it to save yourself doing it twice. I also run a yellow box speedo converter, great product really recommend it.
