My KK has 62000k on the clock. 95% of that is hot long hauls between the Gold Coast and the very south west of Victoria. Portland. 50% of the time it's in storage while we are overseas.
Last week while heading south, again, the water pump self destructed. No warning. Blew a hole in the front of it and temp went from normal to max in 10 - 15 seconds. Yup I was miles from any where. Got a tow 65k to Shepparton in Vic. Jeep dealer there wouldn't even look at it for almost 3 weeks. Not interested. (My mother was put into hospice and is not looking good so I was in a hurry). They wouldn't even spend the time to diagnose the problem.
Long story short Dallas Automotive came to the rescue. Had me in straight away. And ready to go in about 4 hours. $400.00.
If ever you need help in Sheppartonn avoid the Jeep dealer and go straight to Dallas Automotive. Great guys and great service.
